 We believe and practice that the “effectual fervent prayers of the righteous availeth much”. James 5:16. For this purpose, we have as a critical element of our ministry, Intercessory Prayer. As we receive and offer up prayer requests to God, we are diligently making petitions on behalf of the sick and shut-in, those incapacitated and not able to do so on their own behalf. This includes those that do not yet know the Lord for the fullness of his salvation and the pardoning of sin.

  From early childhood years to the adult members, providing a pipeline to learning about who Jesus is and how to follow his pathway is a staple of our ministry. Starting with Sunday School, moving on to members training, to Bible Study and more, Bible-based teaching along with acceptable learning tools help to prepare members for worship, ministry, and service.

  We recognize that great communities happen when everyone does their part to keep the infrastructure of people and places safe and strong. CTB strives to be part of this effort and is active in community events including food drives, book give-a-ways, health events, and more.

Rather on a global basis where we support the IBWCOJC global missions, such as the work in the building of churches and schools in Zambia Africa; or, if it is sending supplies to Haiti and the Dominican Republic as we do almost on a regular basis, we are helping “the least of these”. Locally, we have a hospital mission where we regularly visit the sick, providing encouragement wherever we can, such as our flower-giving ministry. These are great opportunities to spread the Gospel.

  For the sake of transparency, we are dealing with the same issue many churches are dealing with. Ways to continuously attract and engage youth. We are looking for exciting ways to gain the trust and respect of young people and we invite them and their families to get involved and help us grow our Youth Ministry.
