Bishop Jerry Jackson - Pastor
Jerry Jackson is a devoted husband and father, a profound teacher, a prolific speaker, and servant leader dedicated to the betterment of society. He was called into the ministry in 1979, and has been devoted to serving mankind every since. He has worked and held offices at the local, state and national level. He served as Sunday School Superintendent for many years before becoming the Assistant Pastor of Christ Temple Bible Way Church and on May 9, 1990, became pastor. Elder Jackson's desire to do good work and exemplify the life that pleases God led him to conduct weekly Sunday evening services and Bible classes at Circle Vista for those unable to go to any church due to their physical incapacitation.
He pastored two churches for over 10 years.
Pastor Jackson has complied with II Timothy 2:15 and has studied to show himself approved. He studied church leadership at Aenon Bible College and received the Diploma of Theology from International Bible College and the Graduate of Theology Degree from Ohio School of Theology. He is International Bible Way’s Regional Examiner for the Ohio area for candidates for ordination as Elders.
Pastor Jackson's service at the local level led to his appointment as the President of the Young People's Department and Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee of the Northeast Ohio District of Bible Way Churches Worldwide. He also served for many years as Vice President of the Young People's Department of Ohio Diocese of Bible Way Churches Worldwide. His dedication and commitment to God and service to man led to his appointment as District Elder in 2010. On July 15, 2016, he was consecrated as a Bishop in International Bible Way Church of our Lord Jesus Christ, Inc. He is the Bishop over the Northeast Ohio District of Bible Way. In September 2016, Bishop Jackson started conducting a weekly radio broadcast entitled ‘Strictly the Word.’
Dr. Linda Jackson - Church Administrator
Dr. Linda A. Jackson is a wife, mother, grandmother, musician, evangelist, and educator. She started singing at 4, playing the violin at 7, and flute at 14. She was one of the few African American youths to be a member of the Akron Youth Symphony Orchestra. Her academic achievements include not only being the first African American female to graduate from Old Trail School, but also valedictorian. She studied at the University of Veracruz in Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico, obtained a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science and Economics, a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a PhD in Education (Organizational Leadership). Dr. Jackson is currently the Dean of Instruction at Bryant & Stratton College.
Dr. Linda Jackson (aka Lady Jackson) has been active in the church from her youth, serving as a young people’s leader, Sunday School teacher and superintendent, worship leader and missionary president. She has conducted workshops and seminars locally, statewide and nationally. Lady Jackson is an ordained elder and the president of International Bible Way Missionary Department.. Her community service resulted in her being selected as one of the Outstanding Women in the Greater Cleveland Area, published in the 4th edition of Who’s Who in Black Cleveland, and a commendation by Congresswoman Stephanie Tubbs Jones.
Elder Elaine Henderson - Outreach Coordinator
Elaine Henderson is the proud mother of three children, 10 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild. As a result of the personal challenges and obstacles in her life, she made a commitment to helping those in need. In 2003 she began meeting in homes with women in a recovery program which birthed a support group which she called Women Walking in Destiny.
Elaine began her formal religious training at Sure Foundation Bible School where she received a certificate of completion to teach the Bible in 2011 and a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Education in 2012. In May 2013 she was installed as an Elder at The House of Refuge International Church where she served as Benefits Counselor and SSI/SSDI Counselor. She also volunteered for the Westside Catholic Center State ID and Birth Certificate Program. Elder Henderson has received several certificates: Certificate for Domestic Violence Registered Advocacy Program, Certificate for Human Traffficking Awareness, and Certificate of Achievement Caregivers Support from Cleveland Sight Center. In 2018 she completed International Bible Way’s Elder Training Program under the tutelage of Bishop Jerry Jackson. She now serves as an Elder and Outreach Coordinator at Christ Temple Bible Way Church, Inc.
